Rich Irvin is a fiscal conservative leader who has spent his career protecting taxpayers. First as the Huntingdon County Treasurer and then as our State Representative. Rich has focused on controlling spending, cutting government waste and preventing tax increases. He has opposed Governor Wolf’s tax increases and fought to eliminate unfunded mandates.
RESTORING ELECTION INTEGRITY
Pennsylvanians deserve an election system that they can trust is free and fair. Rich supports repealing “no excuse” mail in voting and requiring identification in order to vote.
PROTECTING LIFE
Rich Irvin is pro-life. He has one of the strongest pro-life voting records in Pennsylvania, having voted for every pro-life bill in the House of Representatives.
PROTECTING INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS
Everyone is entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Unfortunately, Pennsylvanians have been forced to endure the government overreach and power grabs by Governor Wolf and the Democrats during the pandemic. Rich Irvin fought for individual rights of businesses and individuals during the unnecessary lockdowns and unconstitutional mandates. Rich spearheaded efforts by local elected officials and businesses to end the business closures and re-open businesses.
SUPPORTING LAW ENFORCEMENT
Law Enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to make our communities, neighborhoods and families safer. Rich Irvin supports fully funding our police and opposes any effort by the radical left to defund the police.
PROTECTING SENIOR CITIZENS
Our ability to pursue the American Dream in Pennsylvania is vanishing. High taxes unfunded mandates and job crushing regulations have hurt the creation of family sustaining jobs. Rich Irvin has always supported pro-growth policies that help to create a job friendly environment that helps businesses create jobs.
BANNING CRITICAL RACE THEORY
Liberals have used the pandemic to define a “new normal” and implement radical social change. Rich Irvin supports increasing transparency in our schools so that parents have a voice in their children’s education and what they are being taught in our schools. He supports banning critical race theory and other divisive indoctrination in the classroom.
INCREASING ACCESS TO BROADBAND
The pandemic highlighted the importance of access to new technologies and broadband for businesses, education and medicine. Rich Irvin has pushed for an expansion of connectivity for rural Pennsylvania for years. He is currently working with our County Commissioners to utilize a $20 million federal grant for broadband infrastructure.
